This year Hewitt Young Electric participated in the Annual SOHO Small Business Trade Show. Although this was the SOHO’s 16th year of exceptional displays, it was our first year attending the impressive show.
As described on the SOHO website, SOHO Rochester is an annual conference that brings together Upstate New York’s most passionate members of the small business and entrepreneurial community including founders, investors, and emerging leaders to build community, start a conversation, and provide inspiration.
Attending the trade show was an awesome learning experience! We had a chance to meet with businesses from all over Upstate NY, sharing ideas, and networking with attendees. With over 100 different booths, it was entertaining to see what other companies had to offer.
Our focus for the show was educating attendees and some exhibitors – about the benefits of upgrading to LED Retrofits. We had the opportunity to show people how LED’s are energy efficient, environmentally friendly, low maintenance, and cost-effective. We even gave away $500 towards an LED Retrofit upgrade!
At Hewitt Young, we truly loved being able to support other small businesses by showing them how they could save on their electrical costs!
