We at Hewitt Young strive to positively influence not only our team members, but the community around us. With the current state of unrest that plagues the world due to COVID-19, the time is now more than ever to do anything we can to build our community up to stand strong in the face of adversity.
In the spirit of the changing seasons, our team thought it would be a great idea to host a Spring Clothing Drive to benefit The Open Door Mission, a local non-profit that provides shelter, community meal programs, and clothing distribution among other amazing programs to the local Rochester community. Hewitt Young wanted to donate to an organization that would directly impact the community, and The Open Door Mission does that each and every day.
We gathered gently used clothing for men, women, and children of all ages and sizes in the hopes that we could make a difference in someone’s day or even life. While “It’s Always a Great Day at Hewitt Young!” it’s important for us to realize that we have the privilege and power to try and make it a great day for those in the community. Giving back is imperative right now as we unify within our communities all around the world to face the COVID-19 crisis. We will get through this together – one day at a time.
